About Sarah

I grew up in South Africa and then Normandy before moving to the UK, where I completed an undergraduate degree in Social Anthropology at the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Prior to working as a psychotherapist, I spent numerous years working across the charity, NGO and mental health sectors, in countries spanning Europe, South America and Africa. I have experience working with people in a large variety of settings and situations; from ex-child soldiers to corporate executives.

Alongside this, I am a trained Swedish Massage therapist, Death Doula and BFA qualified Focusing teacher and practitioner. I now work primarily as a psychotherapist in private practice, both in Brighton (UK) and online.

Qualifications

I am a registered member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP Reg.), an accredited clinical member of the Universities Psychotherapy and Counselling Association (MUPCA Accred.), and a member of the Society for Existential Analysis (MSEA). I am also in the final stages of a Doctorate (DProf) in Existential Psychotherapy at the New School of Psychotherapy and Counselling.
